Dogs develop a liking for their “potty spots” and might uriniate on them all the time. Especially male dogs can make a lawn look really bad (yellow, brown spots) since they are “marking” their territory at several places. Female dogs are less likely to ruin the looks of your yard/lawn because they normally squat down to urinate and empty their bladder at once. Male dogs seem to be able to urinate 50+ times with no problems. Some are very territorial and feel the need to “mark” everywhere.
