Trader Joe’s recalls pet food manufactured by Menu Foods:

We highly recommend to cook for your animals until the source for the contamination is found. Currently more and more brands are added to the recall list and the test labs are still not sure what caused the problem. The suspected wheat gluten might or might not be the reason that animals get sick. Some people reported that they fed dry kibbles and their pets got sick also.

Use chicken (boneless), lean ground beef, beef, fish, mixed with sweet potatoes, some rice, and vegetables. Make sure that the beef/chicken/fish is thoroughly cooked and not raw inside. Avoid salt and spices and do not use baby food due to the sodium content. Pork is harder to digest, therefore use it in moderation only.
