Just recently I took care of a friend’s dog who had an emergency and needed to leave for a few days. “Bonnie” is a sweet 2-year old poodle mix, rescued from a shelter, hause trained but unfortunately still suffers from submissive urination on occasion. I have done some research on this subject, please see our article >> Submissive Urination.
Within a day or two we had several spots on the carpet and our male dog, he is very eager to mark HIS territory, started to be very tempted to set the record straight.
It is well known that urine stains are very hard to get rid of unless you use an enzymatic cleaner. I have tried one before but was not happy with the results, the carpet still showed stains even after 2 or 3 treatments. I talked to a friend and she recommended to use PetSmart’s own brand,
PetZyme, a stain and odor remover.

PetZyme
is exclusively sold at PetSmart. Click the links above or use the PetSmart Search Box on the left navigation bar for more information.
We can highly recommend this exceptional product. Even if your dog is fully house trained it is always good to have something at hand in case of an accident. It works as stain and odor remover, even for vomit. Available for cats and dogs.
