Dogs are not only incredible companions, they are also used to help blind and disabled people. If you have ever seen what an incredible job these animals do, you will see dogs in a different light!

Almost every dog carries a dog collar and about 90% have pet ID-tags attached. This is a good thing and has lead to much less animals being euthanized at shelters because the animal and the owner could be re-united. Statewide dog license laws are supposed to help return lost dogs to their owners, but they don’t work always because many dogs and cats might have lost their collars and ID-tags somewhere between where they escaped and the shelter they might end up at.

Holidays - Make them merry for your animals!

Holidays mean stress, who hasn’t experienced it. There are parties to go to, presents to buy, cookies to bake, gifts to wrap, and invited in-laws to accommodate. All these errands and additional chores will somehow result in you cutting down on your pet’s leisure, walking, play and cuddle hours. Cats might show you that they are annoyed or at least displeased, dogs can get really rambunctious and might forget what well-behaved means.
